Exploring Earthenware: Slab to Surface

Studio potter Kip O’Krongly will demonstrate the creation of her signature pottery forms and distinctive decorating techniques that feature layers of slips and computer-cut, custom stencils. Follow O’Krongly’s processundefinedfrom slab-built or wheel-thrown piecesundefinedusing hump molds and special additions. Work through layers of latex resist, slips, sgraffito, and once-fired glazes on terracotta clay. Participants will have a chance to try the slip and stencil techniques, and all materials will be provided!

Saturday, July 12th and Sunday, July 13th from 10 - 4pm each day.
Registration fee is $190
