Lamp making workshop (part II)

  • 11 Apr 2015
  • 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Jackson Flats, St Paul

Registration for part I will automatically secure your spot in part II.

Learn to design, produce and wire your own ceramic lamps, sconces, or pendants. Richard Wehrs, a St. Cloud ceramic artist with extensive experience producing and marketing ceramic lamps, will walk us through the basics of designing lamps that are beautiful and functional. Session I (February 21) will include a slide talk, discussion of wiring basics and best resources for components, and plenty of time for participants to design, sketch, and plan. Attendees will have seven weeks between sessions I and II to create their own ceramic pieces and acquire their own wiring components. In session II (April 11), participants will assemble, wire and test out their lamps. Attendees will purchase their own wiring components. Registering for session I will also secure your spot in session II.
